Fall Conference: Shining a Light on Dementia Issues

We would like to introduce our 2018 Fall Conference Speakers from around the US. We have speakers from around the US to speak about topics on Dementia.

The cost of registration includes a continental breakfast and taco bar lunch.

$70 Early Bird Registration Ends September 17th.  After September 17th the price will change to $85 a ticket.

Here is a sneak peak of our list of speakers.

Kimiko Domoto-Reilly, MD, a cognitive neurologist and one of the leading researchers with the University of Washington’s Memory and Brain Wellness Center, who will be speaking on the latest research.

Heather McKay, licensed occupational therapist and dementia consultant, and international trainer/speaker who is passionate about helping healthcare providers and the families of those with dementia to demystify dementia care.

Maria Wellisch, RN, LNFA, vice president of corporate and community education at Morning Side Ministries Senior Living Communities in San Antonio, TX. Maria will address intimacy issues that occur when a partner is living with dementia.

Professional Panel,  Plan Ahead, A panel to discuss advance directives.  ACP+D presentations are designed to educate people ho have either received a diagnosis of dementia or are caring for someone who has.

Marigrace Becker, MSW, is the Program Manager of Community Education and Impact grassroots organization focused on engaging people living with dementia in meaningful activities. Marigrace has been working with us to help start the Momentia Bellingham movement in Whatcom County.
